Copart Acquires Two Facilities in Nebraska

Copart, Inc. has acquired two salvage vehicle sales facilities in Nebraska. The two facilities are located in Greenwood and Grand Island and total 48 and 13 acres, respectively. These locations are the company's first facilities in the state of Nebraska. The addition of these two sites brings Copart's total number of locations to 120 throughout the United States and Canada.

"We are committed to expanding our national footprint in order to serve our customers' needs," stated Willis J. Johnson, Copart's Chief Executive Officer. "The entry into Nebraska increases our coverage in the U.S. to 44 states."

Copart, founded in 1982, provides vehicle suppliers, primarily insurance companies, with a full range of services to process and sell salvage vehicles, principally to licensed dismantlers, rebuilders and used vehicle dealers, through Internet sales utilizing its proprietary VB2 technology. The company operates 120 facilities in the United States and Canada.
