Hi-Tech Collision Hires Bruce Bares as Senior Vice President

Hi-Tech Collision and Glass has added Bruce Bares to its executive team as the company’s Senior Vice President. Hi-Tech Collision and Glass owns and operates nine repair centers in and around Orange County, CA. Hi-Tech owner and founder, George Boukather, has been in the collision repair business in Orange County for 32 years.

“Bruce’s unique, insurance oriented, background will bring a new perspective to our organization. Bruce will be expanding our current customer-oriented platform, which will enhance the company’s high level of service and quality,” stated Boukather. “His focus will be on the development and implementation of a corporate vision to help keep this organization at the forefront of our ever-changing industry.”

Bares’s career started in the collision industry, working with his father for nine years managing a family owned center. He then joined GE Auto and Home Insurance (recently acquired by AIG). Bruce began his insurance career as a staff appraiser and over the next twenty years, rose to the position of National Material Damage Director. Bares has served the collision industry on numerous advisory boards including Mitchell International, CCC, COPART, ISO APD Panel, BASF, DuPont, and the Aftermarket Parts delegation.

“I have always had the opportunity to work with customer service oriented organizations that were open to change,” said Bares. Hi-Tech is a debt-free MSO located in the same community for the past 32 years with a leadership team focused on developing a true customer friendly repair solution. We will leverage the Six Sigma tools to help us create and execute a business model that will support long term stability and the consistency our business partners are looking for.”
