2005 VeriFacts Outstanding Quality Award Winners Honored

Finalists and winners of VeriFacts Automotive’s outstanding quality awards, known as the ACE Awards (Achievement in Collision Repair Excellence), were introduced at the 2005 Collision Industry Night of Achievement, held in conjunction with the International Autobody Congress and Exposition (NACE).

VeriFacts has established two ACE Awards to recognize outstanding performance from individual technicians and collision repair centers committed to attaining higher repair quality as measured through the VeriFacts Shop Coaching Program.

“To qualify for an ACE Award, collision repair centers must participate in the VeriFacts Shop Coaching Program for at least six months,” said Farzam Afshar, CEO and co-founder of VeriFacts Automotive. “The technician and shop that scored highest in their respective categories were presented the top award, with finalists being recognized with a certificate of repair excellence.”

In the category of VeriFacts Technician ACE Award, the top award was presented to Dave Campbell of CARSTAR Metcalf in Stillwell, KS. Other finalists for the award included: Glenn Davis, ARA Collision Centers, Everett, WA; Gabriel Fierro, Caliber Collision Centers, El Cajon, CA; John Horton, Caliber Collision Centers, San Antonio IH-10, TX; Jay Johnson, Caliber Collision Centers, West Fort Worth, TX; Phil Miller, CARSTAR Riverside, Kansas City, MO; Ty Sunkel, Alternative Auto Body, Bremerton, WA; Mark Tibbets, Caliber Collision Centers, Anaheim, CA; and Paul Williams, Fletcher Jones Motor Cars, Newport Beach, CA.

The VeriFacts Repair Center ACE Award was presented to Skill Craft, Huntington Beach, CA. The other finalists in this category included: Apex Auto Body, Huntington Beach, CA; ARA Collision Centers, Everett, WA; BodyCraft Collision Centers, Rancho Cordova, CA; Caliber Collision Centers, Oceanside, CA; CARSTAR Metcalf, Stillwell, KS; Collision Center of Riverside, Riverside, CA; Diablo Auto Body, Pleasenton, CA; Fletcher Jones Motor Cars, Newport Beach, CA; Holmes Body Shop, Riverside, CA; and Ric's Body & Paint, Scottsdale, AZ.

“The results for both ACE Awards were extremely close,” stated Mark Olson, COO of VeriFacts. “All winners and finalists should be congratulated for their commitment to producing high quality collision repair.”
