Allstate CEO to Call for National Catastrophe Plan at National Press Club Meeting

In the aftermath of last year's hurricane season, Edward M. Liddy, chairman and CEO of The Allstate Corporation, will speak at the National Press Club, in Washington D.C. on January 13.

Liddy will discuss Allstate's position and support for HR 4366 which will provide the foundation for a comprehensive, integrated solution that includes the creation of federal and state catastrophe funds. He will address the impact of natural disasters on America's economic security and outline strategies he believes federal policymakers should consider to better protect Americans in the face of unpredictable natural disasters. Liddy will also talk about Allstate's position advocating for the creation of federal and state catastrophe funds.
