Hertz Opens New Location in Hollywood FL as Part of Suburban Market Expansion
As part of a company-wide strategy to further expand into suburban markets, The Hertz Corporation has opened a Hertz Local Edition car rental facility in Hollywood, FL.This opening represents Hertz's commitment to serving its suburban clientele looking to rent a car for insurance replacement needs, business trips, vacations and everyday purposes.
Conveniently located at the Diplomat Landing on Hollywood Beach's South Ocean Drive, the Hertz facility is easily accessible from the area's major car dealerships and vehicle repair shops. The new location provides Hertz customers with a full range of rental vehicles including minivans and compact through full-size cars. Pick-up and drop-off service, insurance replacement rentals, and Hertz #1 Club Gold counter service are also available. Vehicles equipped with Hertz NeverLost(R) on-board navigation system and Sirius Satellite Radio, as well as vehicles from the Hertz Prestige Collection of high-end, luxury vehicles may be requested at the time of reservation. In addition, as with all Hertz corporate locations, vehicles are available for rental with unlimited mileage and all rate structures are honored, including one-way, inter-city rates.
With more than 1,300 off airport locations, Hertz has been servicing the insurance replacement industry for more than 5 years. Hertz's rapid, nationwide growth in the off airport market to serve insurance replacement, business, and leisure rental included the opening of 300 new off airport locations in 2004. The company plans to open another 300 locations this year.
