SCA Appraisal Company to Partner with NuGen IT

SCA Appraisal Company, a division of SCA Enterprises, Inc., has signed a longterm contract with NuGen IT for electronic estimate auditing and other leading edge software development projects.

“SCA feels the NuGen I.T. product is one of the easiest to use and most effective electronic estimate auditing and process compliance tools on the market today,” stated Jon Gironda, SCA’s National Operations Director. “Over the past several years, we have researched, as well as utilized many of the other auditing tools and found that the NuGen product identifies inconsistencies, exceptions and estimatical oversights as well as agreed upon customer procedures that others simply do not. In addition, the NuGen IT product is extremely easy to install, run and train, by and for, our 300 plus field staff appraisers. With SCA’s Quality Control looking at every estimate from our field staff appraisers, small subjective estimatical errors can be difficult to catch by even by the best trained eyes. SCA prides itself on severity control due to efficient eyes auditing all estimates, but even with that we can only effectively catch about 70 percent of estmatical errors. We are confident the NuGen IT NuGen IT product will catch the other 30 percent.”

“All of us at NuGen IT Are very please that SCA, one of the leading independent appraisal companies in North America, selected the Estimate Compliance and Audit Review (ECAR) module along with others from Enterprise Workflow Product Line,” said Todd Johnson, Employee Owner-Business Development – Client Services, at NuGen IT. “The scripting language of ECAR will allow SCA to ensure that the policies and procedures of their clients as well as those of SCA are adhered to any level of detail, even down to the local supervisor and appraiser level.

“SCA will also be able to measure appraiser performance on a real time basis for each client as well as for SCA at the company level. The process compliance reporting will empirically report results based upon performance compliance metrics established by SCA. Performance and compliance indexing will facilitate re-inspection process based on objective measurement of subjective random analysis,” concluded Johnson.

Founded in 1979, SCA is an independent, privately owned auto material damage appraisal firm that currently services the 39 states of Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, New Mexico, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming. SCA will continue its business plan to open and service all U.S states by year end 2006.
