Fred Haas Toyota World Named Toyota Certified Collision Center of the Year Award

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corp. has congratulated Fred Haas Toyota World in Spring, TX, for winning the Toyota Collision Center Shop of the Year Award for the second time. Recognized for their undeniable success within the automotive repair industry, the collision center received the highest honor from Toyota Motor Sales, USA.

“We are proud to acknowledge Fred Haas Toyota World on its accomplishment. The store has set a new standard in productivity, profitability, and efficiency for the second time around,” said Tom Mayhugh, New Business Manager of National Accounts, Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes.

According to Mayhugh, the manager of Fred Haas Toyota World, Jeff Debner, has been instrumental to the center’s achievements.

“When Debner first started at the collision center, it was an outdated, insufficient facility in a depressed area of Houston. Today, the shop is a huge sensation, well-known for its state-of-the-art equipment, and guarantee of timeliness and customer satisfaction,” he added.

Debner and his staff’s drive for excellence is apparent in the quality and conciseness of every repair completed in the shop - averaging more than 360 vehicles a month. In addition, their Toyota On Time Collision Repair Line does approximately 45 vehicles a week or nearly 185 each month - and each repair is guaranteed.

“We have the best people in the business. We work on the best product in the business, and we use the best paint in the business,” said Debner. “It sure makes my job easier. Plus, we are fortunate to have great ownership and executive management who are committed to the ongoing success of the collision center.”

Fred Haas Toyota World received their first award in 2002. The collision center promises the best in automotive care, offering faster repair completion, high-tech equipment, and unbeatable color precision, year after year.

In addition, Sherwin-Williams congratulated Toyota of Irving, one of two runners-up in the annual contest.

“This is a tremendous year for our Toyota customers,” said Mayhugh. “We’re thrilled to have two customers recognized for their positive efforts.”

David Shirley, Collision Center Manager at Toyota of Irving, stated, “The award for Toyota shop of the year is a very hard award to achieve, so we were honored to receive this recognition as a finalist. We are grateful to our staff and our partners like Sherwin-Williams for their support and dedication in making this happen.”

Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Sherwin-Williams Company, manufactures and distributes a complete line of advanced technology paint and coating systems for automotive and fleet refinishing industries.

Fred Haas Toyota World, founded in 1970, has been serving Houston for over 35 years. Located on over 25 acres, Fred Haas Toyota World offers consumers over 2000 new Toyota cars, trucks and SUVs.

Toyota of Irving, the oldest owned Toyota franchise in North Texas, has been in business for over 30 years, and features a 29,000 square foot Collision Repair Center.
