March 14Twenty-Six Automotive Training Programs Adopt CCAR’s S/P2 in February
The Coordinating Committee For Automotive Repair has announced that 26 schools registered in February to utilize CCAR’s S/P2 online training in Safety and Pollution Prevention in their automotive training programs.
The new schools are:
- Albuquerque TVI, Albuquerque, N.M.
- Alden-Hebron High School, Hebron, Ill.
- American Fork High School, American Fork, Utah
- Blackstone Valley Regional High School, Upton, Mass.
- Burlington County Institute of Technology, Mt. Holly, N.J.
- Career Technical High School, Coldwater, Miss.
- Central Pennsylvania Institute, Pleasant Gap, Penn.
- Edison High School, Philadelphia, Pa.
- Farmville Central High School, Farmville, N.C.
- L.E. Fletcher Technical Community College, Houma, La.
- Future Builders Inc. High Schools, Raymond, Maine
- E.C. Glass High School, Lynchburg, Va.
- Herndon Career Center, Raytown, Mo.
- David Star Jordan High School, Long Beach, Calif.
- Lancaster High School, Lancaster, Ohio
- Lincoln Technical, Newark, N.J.
- Lookout Valley High School, Chattanooga, Tenn.
- Marshall Academy, Falls Church, Va.
- Mission Trails ROP, Salinas, Calif.
- Morgan High School, McConnelsville, Ohio
- Oneida County BOCES, New Hartford, N.J.
- Ottumwa High School, Ottumwa, Iowa
- Parker High School, Janesville, Wis.
- Tennessee Technology Center at McMinnville, McMinnville, Tenn.
- Vista High School, Vista, Calif.
- Winfield City High School, Winfield, Ala.
More than 2,400 schools across the U.S. now have access to the S/P2 courseware, which CCAR offers S/P2 free of charge to automotive training programs. S/P2 was designed in keeping with U.S. EPA and OSHA standards, which require shop personnel and students to be trained at least annually on safety and environmental regulations. For businesses, S/P2 is available for a $299 annual subscription per facility for an unlimited amount of training during the 12 months.
