John Tate Joins SCA Appraisal Company as Vice President - Marketing
SCA Appraisal Company, a division of SCA Enterprises, Inc., has announced that John R. Tate has joined the company and accepted the position of Vice President – Marketing.Tate, a well known Independent Appraisal executive, comes to SCA after spending over 26 years with Property Damage Appraisers, Inc., in Fort Worth, Texas. During John’s tenure with PDA, he served as Regional Manager, Executive Director – Insurance Technical Training Institute, Senior Vice president – Trinity Claims Service (both former subsidiaries of PDA, Inc.), and Voce President – Operations, Western Division.
Prior to joining PDA, Tate began his insurance career with Travelers Insurance Company as a multi-line adjuster and with Fireman’s Fund Insurance Company as a Property Damage Manager.
“With John joining SCA, we will obviously take advantage of his expertise, friendships in the industry, and most importantly, his ability to work with our staff nationwide,” said SCA’s Senior Vice President, Corporate Services, John Junk. “I truly look forward to working with John and sincerely feel SCA is now in a position to meet our goals, objectives, and dream of becoming the industry’s number one Independent Appraisal source.
Tate stated, “PDA is a very fine company and I have made many, many good friends over the past 26 years. However, after meeting with SCA’s Senior Management staff on several occasions, I feel my past experience will assist SCA in meeting its long term goals.”
Founded in 1979, SCA is an independent, privately owned, auto material damage appraisal firm that currently services 40 U.S. states.
