Business Tools | Tuesday May 16 TXIAN Doubles Reach, Transforms Salvage Auctions’ Network Capabilities with XML SoftwareThe Texas Independent Auction Network (TXIAN), a group of independent auctions which provides insurers with single-source salvage management and disposition, has announced that its territorial coverage area has doubled in size due to the addition of new partners Verastar and all AIMS system-users. This recent expansion brings the total number of partner auctions to 70, covering 30 states.“To combine clichés, TXIAN has just changed the map and leveled the playing field at the same time,” said Manager Doug Ruiz. “First, we are delighted to be working with Verastar, one of the oldest and most highly respected organizations in the salvage auction industry. Their participation, combined with that of all the AIMS auctions, gives us the broad geographical reach our insurance customers need.” “And secondly,” continued Ruiz, “the ability to interface seamlessly with AIMS-users, as well as with Verastar’s Blue Pine system, has helped us reach our goal of building a network that can be used by all independents as they see fit. With our XML interface, every partner has the ability to be an originating network member, securely sending and receiving assignments and data without the need for duplicate entry.” Ruiz added, “Most of the insurers we have met with agree that independent pools’ salvage returns and service levels outperform their consolidated competitors. Armed with the same single-source ease of use offered by the national companies, TXIAN customers can now place their focus where it belongs: on quality service and their own bottom lines.” ©2006 Collision Repair Industry INSIGHT | FEATURED
