Snap-on Introduces Personal WorkCenter

Snap-on Tools has introduced the Snap-on Personal WorkCenter, an innovative tool storage unit. The unit aims to allow technicians to keep tools organized, easily accessible, and secure. The Personal WorkCenter can be customized to fit the needs of the technician with a variety of innovative accessories, including tool holders and racks, shelves, lighting, and magnetic panels.

The WorkCenter offers a range of capacities for any size business or workplace with a matching overhead that is almost 28 inches deep. Overhead units range from 54 to 72 inches wide, providing plenty of storage space for large cases, manuals, personal stereo systems, clothes, or safety equipment. The center also has space for a digital workstation which can be easily accessed and locked away when not in use. The secure round key locks have interchangeable cores, which means keys can be matched to components to ensure maximum security.

The Personal WorkCenter incorporates Slots & Dots Plus(TM), giving technicians the means for greater possibilities with a dozen additional Snap-on accessories such as the 12-inch Literature Holder, Manual Holder, Screwdriver Rack, and Hammer Rack. The standard ¼-inch holes also support standard accessory attachments for greater variety.

Each custom Personal WorkCenter comes preassembled, ready-to-use, and featuring the patent-pending Snap-on torsion spring-assist doors. The doors glide on a system that provides easy access to tools without interfering with a technician's workspace and keeps the door from slamming under its own weight. A standing top seam that flows around the edges gives the Personal WorkCenter a smooth, finished look and weight-bearing capacity. The unit's buffed stainless steel finish is offered in several colors.

"Our Personal WorkCenter offers not only tool organization help, but flexibility and dependability needed in storage centers," said John Landree, Tool Storage product manager, Snap-on Tools. "The Personal WorkCenter is no exception when it comes to the quality and innovation that Snap-on is known for."
