Quality Management System Education Available at MQVP Quality College
MQVP Quality College Inc., a newly organized corporation headquartered in Rochester Hills, MI has launched a program to provide education on topics related to quality management and the tools essential in the implementation of an effective quality management system. The MQVP Quality College mission is to facilitate the development and growth of manufacturing industries by means of providing training courses in the Total Quality and Productivity Management bodies of knowledge.“The automotive supply chains and aftermarket distribution clients will be the first to take advantage of the offerings, followed by the insurance company and collision repair shop groups,” said Maria Stoletova, Director of Course Development.
The training body of knowledge covers a range of subjects dealing with quality engineering, continuous improvement using six sigma and lean techniques, quality system auditing, supply chain management, resource planning and development, as well as preparation for quality and supply chain professional certifications. The expected business outcomes of this training are to drive efficiency through continuous improvement projects, reduce cycle time, improve quality, and to provide the competitive advantage that these improvements bring to the organization. The college will launch with over fifty course subjects, and this list will be expanded based on new customer requests and industry developments.
The MQVP Quality College approach to training is based on convenience and cost effective training methods. There will be three training formats: public, web-based, and on-site courses. Public courses will be offered at the MQVP Quality College facility on scheduled dates, at least one per calendar quarter for selected courses. Web-based courses may be especially attractive for students whose schedule would prevent travel to the MQVP Quality College facility. The web-based training relies on current internet technologies to assure interactive learning, at a time that is most convenient for the student. On-site courses are conducted at the client’s location and provide the client company with the dedicated time for training a group of employees on specific customer-focused topics with minimum interruption from their job activities. Web-based training courses will be offered on an ongoing basis., On-site courses are scheduled upon customers’ requests.
MQVP Quality College Inc. training courses are delivered an instructor team consisting of a number of specialists whose credentials are recognized by peers within the American Society for Quality (ASQ) and APICS, The Association for Operations Management, as well as several in academia on a PhD level.
MQVP Quality College Inc. is a separate legal entity from MQVP Inc. MQVP Inc. has provided a limited license agreement to MQVP Quality College Inc. to use the MQVP(R) Trademark.
