Micro Rim Approved as CAPA Participant

The Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA) has announced that Micro Rim Corporation, a full service Reactive Injected Mold (RIM) and Thermo Plastic Olefin (TPO) manufacturing facility headquartered in Highland Park, Michigan, has joined CAPA as a Full Participant.

“Micro Rim’s decision to comply with CAPA’s comprehensive quality standards is a strong indication of their desire to build parts that meet the demands of today’s collision repairers,” said Jack Gillis, Executive Director of the independent, non-profit association. “Complying with CAPA quality standards requires an attention to detail, understanding of the importance of fit and finish, and consistent manufacturing processes, all of which are clearly important to Micro Rim Corporation, a long-standing supplier of aftermarket crash parts.”

“Micro Rim Corporation is pleased to become a part of the CAPA organization and look forward to continuing to provide the aftermarket industry with quality manufactured products,” said Kim Hicks, President of Micro Rim Corporation.

In order to become a participating CAPA manufacturer, Micro Rim went through a detailed review and inspection of its quality system and manufacturing process. Micro Rim is able now to submit parts for CAPA certification.
