CARSTAR Appoints Siembab Senior Director of Insurance Relations

CARSTAR Collision Services has promoted Larry Siembab to Senior Director of Insurance Relations. As a 12-year veteran of CARSTAR, Siembab brings a vast range of experience and credibility to this position. While he will continue to develop national partnerships with insurance providers, he will now assume a greater management role in the training and development of the CARSTAR insurance department.

“We have tremendous confidence in Larry,” noted Dan Young, vice president of insurance. “His excellent leadership skills have been a linchpin to the success of the CARSTAR insurance program.”

The insurance department at CARSTAR has experienced significant growth over the last several years. Today it manages over $70 million in insurance revenue, having managed $4 million just three years ago. To support the insurance department’s efforts, there are ten corporate staff members and over 30 regional business development managers across the country.

“We are committed to supporting our insurance program across our entire CARSTAR nation-wide network, “said Dick Cross III, chairman of the board. “We are certainly pleased to have someone of Larry Siembab’s caliber to help guide our growth efforts.”

Headquartered in Overland Park, Kansas, CARSTAR is the largest group of auto body repair shops in North America. The privately held company currently has 270 locations in 25 U.S. states and the District of Columbia, and 110 Canadian locations.
