Sri Lanka Insurance Launches Formula World Collision Repair Center

Sri Lanka Insurance has launched the first state-of-the-art Collision Repair Centre in Sri Lanka - Formula World. The services of the high tech Collision Repair Center is available free to all its "Formula Plus" Motor Insurance policy holders, who have a comprehensive insurance cover.

Located at Seeduwa, the 8100 square-foot building space sprawled over two acres can accommodate over 300 vehicles and is equipped with the latest technology in the automotive repair industry.

Formula World is one of the first Collision Repair Centers in the world managed and owned by an Insurance company providing exclusive service free of charge to its comprehensive motor policy holders.

Chief Technical Operational Officer Suren Galagoda said, "At Sri Lanka Insurance customer well-being is our main focus. With this modern centre we can take care of this for our Formula Plus Motor policy holders. However putting up a specialised motor repair collision center is an expensive proposition. The investment is over Rs. 350 million. We are the largest and financially strongest insurer in the country today, and our initiative is the stance of an industry leader. Sri Lanka Insurance is the only insurer who can provide a service of this magnitude to them. We have been providing total value-for-money service for over 40 years and will continue to do so for many more years to come".

To achieve its vision, Formula World has a dedicated fleet of special recovery trucks on call 24 hours-a-day that will transport the damaged vehicle to the collision repair center, freeing the policyholder from the burden of finding a qualified vehicle towing service.

Customers can be assured that the vehicle will be repaired to manufacturers specifications by qualified technicians who are trained by overseas qualified specialists. Formula World uses high-tech equipment to detect, adjust, repair and or replace motor vehicle body panels and related components.
