Team Safety to Release New Collision Industry OSHA/EPA Compliance Program at NACE 2006

Team Safety LLC of Overland Park, Kansas its new Collision Industry OSHA/EPA Compliance Program at NACE 2006 in Las Vegas, November 2 – 4, Booth #W1230.

The program was developed with the input of shop owners and their personnel. It is a timely release coinciding with the recent industry scrutiny by OSHA and EPA. Issues in the past, which have averted compliance in many shops, have been the lack of regulatory knowledge, interpretation, updates, time, and budget.

According to a company press release, Team Safety’s new program provides a solution. It breaks down the requirements according to Federal and State regulations, and delivers a format for effectively and efficiently educating employees. The program requires no employee computer literacy or down time in the shop. Additional services included in the program address the administrative and physical aspects of compliance. As a result, safety and environmental compliance becomes a workplace culture, not just an annual session or certification.

Shop owners and management can realize a reduction in losses associated with workplace injuries and illnesses, and also minimize the fear of an OSHA and/or EPA inspection. Direct benefits of a safe culture can render a reduction in workers compensation insurance premiums, general liability insurance premiums, the potential for excessive fines, and contribute to a much healthier work environment, employee moral, and bottom-line. Team Safety aims to demonstrate that "Compliance can increase profitability."

Team Safety LLC is owned and operated by Colette Bruce, and provides Federal and State Specific Safety and Environmental Compliance Services to Collision Repair Facilities coast to coast. The company is a preferred vendor partner with CARSTAR Franchise Systems, Inc., and is also an approved provider of Environmental, Safety and Pollution Prevention Training for AIG's Personal Care F.I.R.S.T.(R) direct repair program.
