Munce Named Vice President for Manheim in Canada

Manheim has named Cheryl Munce vice president, national accounts, Canada, a market that is playing an increasingly important role in the auto remarketing company’s expansion plans.

Munce, who comes to Manheim with 19 years of experience in used vehicle remarketing, will be reporting to Nick Peluso, senior vice president of customer relations and strategies, and working closely with Patrick Brennan, vice president of operations for Canada. Munce’s role will be to develop strategic business relationships with existing and prospective Manheim customers.

“As we grow Manheim’s operations throughout Canada,it’s important that we have experienced professionals to manage and strengthen our business relationships,” Peluso said. “Cheryl brings valuable industry experience to our team and her efforts will be vital in building a stronger presence for Manheim.”

Munce will also be working closely with Manheim’s Total Resource Auctions group, in particular TRA vice president and general manager Bill Tiedemann, to help identify, develop, and enhance strategies and business relationships for salvage remarketing.

Munce joins Manheim after a long career at Impact Auto Auctions, which was acquired by ADESA in June of 2000. Munce served as executive vice president and president of ADESA Impact prior to joining Manheim. Munce started her automotive career as a fleet administrator for DuPont Canada.

Manheim is a provider of automotive remarketing services. Through its live auctions and array of technology products, Manheim impacts every stage of a used vehicle’s life cycle, helping commercial sellers and automobile dealers realize the full value of their vehicles.

A wholly owned subsidiary of Cox Enterprises, Atlanta-based Manheim is a global organization with 32,000 employees at its 139 U.S. and international locations. The company’s services include reconditioning, certification, inspections, dealer financing, transport, title management, and marshaling.
