Akzo Nobel to Sponsor NACE 2006 OE Forum

The International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) has announced that Akzo Nobel is the official sponsor of the OE Forum being held Friday morning, November 3 at 8:30 a.m. at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center’s South Pacific Ballroom. The OE Forum is free to all registered attendees, but ticket must be requested at the time of registration.

The OE Forum will provide a platform for major U.S. and foreign auto manufacturers to respond to collision repairers. The forum will be moderated by two Akzo Nobel executives, Chuck Mayne (OEM Manager – The Americas) and John Bosin (OEM & Industry Relations). Panelists include the following OEM representatives from DaimlerChrysler (Brian Rogos and Daryl Porter), Ford (Steve Nantau and Gerry Bonanni), General Motors (Robert Hartman, Jr.), Honda (John Riekeberg), Hyundai (Eric Bondus) and Toyota (Roger Foss, Karl Krug and Roger Larsen).

“Understanding emerging technology and changes within the industry is vitally important to the success of collision repair facilities,” commented Tim Loden Director of Marketing for Akzo Nobel Car Refinish of the Americas. “We are pleased to sponsor such an important forum at NACE. The information that is shared at this event enables shops to prepare for the future.”
