911 Collision Centers Charity Golf Tournament Big Success for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson

This past Veterans Day, Friday November 10th, the 911 Collision Centers Charity Invitational raised over $42,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tucson.

Patrick O’Neill, Chief Operating Officer of 911 Collision Centers, stated, “We are committed to helping Big Brothers Big Sisters reach their goals. Making effective mentoring programs available for our youth will pay big dividends not only for these kids but for our society as a whole. Serving our community is part the mission of 911 Collision.”

PGA Champions Tour professional Don Pooley was on hand again this year to help in the fundraising. Pooley, a Tucson resident, commented, “This outing is one of the premiere charity golf outings in Tucson. I’m proud to be a part of it and I’m committed to helping again next year.”

The event was held at the Tucson Omni National Golf Course. Each year the event takes place on the observed Veterans Day Holiday.

Jordan Schacht, Director of Marketing for 911 Collision Centers and Board Chairman of Big Brothers Big Sisters noted, “We get to honor our military personnel, have some great fun and help out our kids. It doesn’t get much better than that. Once again this year we had a full field along with strong support from our sponsors, especially BHP Copper and Dupont Performance Coatings. When the final tally came in we exceeded our initial goal. Everyone on the committee worked so hard to pull this event together. We are grateful to all whom participated.”

Founded in 1998, with headquarters in Tucson AZ, 911 Collision Centers and AutoGlass operates five locations in the Tucson community and two locations in Las Vegas. The 911 Collision Centers was the recipient of the National Auto Body Council’s “Pride Award” for their commitment to community service.
