AAA Releases New Larger-Type Easy Reading Road Atlas

With more Baby Boomers reaching their “golden years,” AAA is making road travel easier on the eyes for the generation known for its independence and wanderlust. AAA has just published the first edition of its Easy Reading North American Road Atlas, which offers 40 percent larger type than standard atlases, and covers all types of road networks – from Interstate highways to country roads – across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Map scale is also larger and easier to read.

With complete coverage of North America, the AAA Easy Reading Road Atlas is the perfect all-purpose road reference for car travel. The proof is in the details. No other atlas offers trusted AAA maps, new symbols to indicate wildlife preserves and motorsports race tracks, more than 58,000 indexed cities and towns, and over 300 city, park and area maps. The atlas also includes new maps of Puerto Rico and Canada’s Yukon Territory and Northwest Territories.

In addition to putting essential road travel information at hand, a reliable road atlas should be considered standard safety equipment for every vehicle, according to AAA. An up-to-date atlas allows travelers to avoid stopping for directions, especially at night, in poor weather and in potentially unsafe areas. It also gives travelers the flexibility to find alternative routes when faced with detours, road closures and heavy traffic.

With the enhanced readability of enlarged type, a valuable advantage for on-the-road reference, Baby Boomers aren’t the only travelers finding that the AAA Easy Reading Road Atlas makes distinguishing your route easier than ever. This popular edition of the AAA road atlas collection is appropriate for travelers of all ages as it provides comprehensive coverage as well as increased comfort.

AAA provides more than 49 million members with travel, insurance, financial, and automotive-related services. Since its founding in 1902, the not-for-profit, fully tax-paying AAA has been a leader and advocate for the safety and security of all travelers.
