Copart Expands in Oregon

Copart, Inc., the largest provider of vehicle salvage disposition services in the United States, has opened its third salvage facility in the state of Oregon. Located in Woodburn, south of Portland, the new yard is a 29-acre greenfield facility that will help expand Copart's capacity in the Pacific Northwest.

"The Woodburn location was opened to give us more coverage in Northern Oregon and the southern part of the city of Portland," said Willis J. Johnson, Copart's Chief Executive Officer. Copart has existing facilities in Portland and Eugene.

Copart, founded in 1982, operates 124 facilities in the United States and Canada and is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
