Lincoln College of Technology Partners with Hire A Hero for Armed Forces Scholarships

Lincoln College of Technology has partnered with the non-profit Hire A Hero program to award academic scholarships to the military community. Lincoln College of Technology's parent company, Lincoln Educational Services, will award up to 122 scholarships to active and transitioning military personnel, veterans, National Guard Members, Reservists, spouses, and their dependants at its schools across the country.

Scholarships that are awarded can be used to pay for training in the following programs at Lincoln College of Technology: Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, Electronics Systems Technology, Collision Repair, and Refinishing Technology.

"Lincoln College of Technology is honored to be able to provide this small service as our way of saying thank you to the families of the outstanding men and women doing so much for our country by serving in the armed forces,” stated Timothy Campagna, Lincoln College of Technology Campus President. "We hope in some way this effort on our part can assist families while they wait for their loved ones to return home.”

All United States American service members, veterans, and dependents can apply for the scholarships. To apply at no charge, register at the Hire A Hero website and uploading a written essay or short video. All applications are due on or before August 17th and winners will be announced by late August.

"Upon retiring from the United States Navy after honorably serving my country for 20 years, I decided to seek employment in the private sector. After working at a couple of different jobs, I realized that I needed to further my education in order to achieve my career goals. I was exposed to electronics while serving in the military and wanted to learn more,” stated Timothy Harrison, a graduate of Lincoln College of Technology. "I chose to attend Lincoln College of Technology (LCT) and pursue a diploma in its Electronic Systems Technician program. Due to the education I received from LCT and my personal commitment to excel, I was offered an Electronic Installer position with a great company.... I am extremely glad that I chose this career path and Lincoln College of Technology helped pave the way.”

Lincoln Educational Services and its subsidery Lincoln College of Technology, Indianapolis are Offering Two Types of Scholarships:
