Business Tools | Thursday September 20 PreFab Ads Offers Affordable TV Ads to Collision FacilitiesPreFab Ads has introduced its ninth TV commercial for auto body shops entitled "Daddyıs Girl," available for licensing on an exclusive-by-territory basis in 17 U.S. markets. The humorous "Daddyıs Girl" spot was written, directed, and produced by Chuck Jessen, founder of PreFab Ads, and can be previewed on the companyıs site, along with eight other commercials, at http://www.prefabads.com. The spot was shot on 35mm film in mid-August, using professional cast and crew to achieve a professional look and quality normally out of independent auto body shops' advertizing budgets. Shops can now license this spot and customize it with their names for about 1/30th of the overall cost of production. Jessen, a veteran of such advertising agencies as DDB, BBDO, and Young and Rubicam, started syndicating TV commercials to auto body shops over ten years ago with his first internationally recognized spot, "Sledgehammer," which showed a scorned, irate woman beating up a red mustang convertible with a sledgehammer only to discover she had the wrong car when her boyfriend drives up in an identical car and asks her what sheıs doing. Currently, more than 200 auto body shops across the U.S. and Canada have licensed one or more of thecompany's commercials. İ2007 Collision Repair Industry INSIGHT | FEATURED
