Business Tools | Friday January 18 Great BestCam Certifies Lights to CAPA 301 Lighting StandardThe Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA) has announced that Great BestCam Co., Ltd. has certified its first parts to the CAPA Lighting Standard 301. Achieving CAPA certification are the right and left fog lamps for the Nissan Altima 2002-04, Nissan Murano 2003-05, Infiniti FX35 2003-05, and Infiniti FX45 2003-05.“The fact that Great BestCam only recently joined the CAPA program and has already successfully completed the certification process on its first lamps, demonstrates the company's motivation in providing high quality replacement parts to the U.S. market,” said Jack Gillis, Executive Director of CAPA. In order to achieve CAPA certification, lighting products must pass initial and on-going testing for fit, form, appearance, composition, coating performance, mechanical properties, adhesives, fasteners, hardware, photometric performance, electrical performance, aiming performance, and compliance with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108. CAPA is the only independent certifying agency which requires and test for compliance to FMVSS108. ©2008 Collision Repair Industry INSIGHT | FEATURED
