Business Tools | Tuesday April 8 BASF Sponsors Automotive Educational DayBASF Automotive Refinish Solutions recently cooperated with Autorama and the International Show Car Association (ISCA), which sanctions the largest group of indoor car shows produced in the United States and Canada, to host an educational day for Michigan area students who participate in automotive classes.“Automotive technology isn’t part of the curriculum at many learning institutions throughout the country. It’s very important that we continue to relay our knowledge and passion of automobiles to willing students in an attempt to make automotive education mainstream,” stated Bob Larivee, Jr.,CEO of Championship Auto Shows, Inc. Brent Wallace, BASF Brand Marketing Manager, said, “BASF Automotive Refinish Solutions, already a sponsor of Autorama, extended support to this educational event because locating the next generation of collision repair specialists plays a major role in the future of our Industry. This event in particular focuses on students who already show an interest in automotive careers, and the intent is to build their excitement for a challenging and rewarding vocation in the automotive industry.
