RDF Enterprises Launches Video Parts Search

RDF Enterprises LLC has released Video Parts Search, a patent pending process geared for acquiring LKQ (used) parts for collision repair facilities.

Searching and receiving correct used parts can be a time consuming job for a collision center. According to a company press release, Video Parts Search enables a shop to send a video e-mail to as many vendors as they choose. The e-mail can include a video of the particular part(s) they are seeking. A shop can show the exact cut needed on a used section, a wheel style, grille style, or any other part(s) needed.

Video Parts Search aims to improve the communication between the shop and LKQ vendors, to speed up cycle times, improve productivity and profitability, and to eliminate telephone calls.

The Video Parts Search e-mail enables a vendor to fill in the part(s) price and quote number. A message box allows the vendor to include delivery times and additional notes. Video Parts Search includes features that allow a shop to quickly see what they have on order and keeps any correspondence between them and the vendor in a special message section for future reference.
