Business Tools | Thursday July 23 Service King Opens New Fort Worth FacilityService King Collision Repair Centers has relocated its South Fort Worth location. The newly constructed collision repair center is located just two miles away from the previous South Fort Worth facility, but is almost twice the size, with 23,000 square feet of space.“In this economy, while a lot of companies are downsizing, we see opportunity for our future, and expansion in Tarrant County is a key part of our business model,” said Jeff McFadden, Service King’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. The additional space gives the shop the ability to repair at least 25 more vehicles at a time than in the previous facility, according to McFadden. A deeper penetration into the Fort Worth market not only offers more convenience for Fort Worth customers and insurance partners, it also gives Service King’s employees more flexibility to work closer to where they live. As the largest employee-owned multi-shop operator in the nation, Service King is dedicated to promoting from within, and giving employees the option to transfer to a different location, or to advance to opportunities in other areas of the operation. In fact, Service King has been repeatedly voted as one of the best places to work in the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Service King Collision Repair Centers was founded 33 years ago by owner and CEO Eddie Lennox, with one location in Dallas, Texas. Now there are 22 Dallas-Fort Worth locations, and one Houston location. ©2009 Collision Repair Industry INSIGHT | FEATURED
