In our high-speed world, it often seems to me that so much information is thrown at me daily that I am unable to process it and retain useful ideas in memory long enough to think about them and implement them. For example, despite the fact that I try to manage both home and office in as paper-less a manner as possible, there are three stacks of mail in various stages of dust-gathering on my desk at home. One pile, of current bills, gets removed and then replenished monthly, in a consumer cycle as regular as the phases of the moon. Another stack holds receipts and coupons, some certainly dating to sometime in the last century. The third pile is an interesting (to me) assortment of subscription offers, brochures, and various notes and articles saved to read and think about when I find the time. My goal is to actually find that time this month, even if it means revising my personal schedule - or lack thereof. Somewhere in that dusty stack I may find a really great idea. There is no need for anyone in the Collision Repair Industry to plow through a pile of magazine clippings to find new ideas and cutting edge information and equipment. The most innovative internationally recognized thinkers, newest equipment, latest classes, and best opportunities for discussion and debate have been collected in one place, at one time: NACE 2007, in Las Vegas, October 31 through November 3. If you have not yet registered for NACE 2007, go immediately to the website: www.NACEexpo.com. I guarantee that you will find several new ideas that will stack up great back home at work. oFeedbackHave a comment about this article? Send Email to Editor ©2007 Collision Repair Industry INSIGHT |
