As I put pen to paper, the curtain is about to go up for what should be a successful NACE 2007. The exhibit hall promises to display new products for both shop and office. A wide range of classes offer food for thought and hands-on training. Opportunities to network abound, over lavish buffets and within small seminars. Awards will be presented to applaud work well done. Good causes will receive generous support from one and all. What a week! Those who have elected to stay away from NACE 2007 are missing out on a lot. Those who have labored long and hard to add value to this exciting week should be thanked for their willingness to share their experience and information. INSIGHT is interested in hearing from NACE attendees. Please take a few minutes to share your overall impression of the NACE 2007 experience. Let us know something you learned, a new product that caught your eye, and an interesting person you met there. Phone and e-mail address are listed below on this page. Is the insurer the shop’s partner, customer, or adversary during the vehicle repair process? SCRS has released a survey illustrating repair facilities’ perceptions of the insurer-shop relationship. See page 11 for details. The curtain has surprisingly come down at Oklahoma-based FOX Collision Centers. Read owner Todd Fox’s farewell letter to the industry on page 15 to get his opinion about what may have gone wrong within his shop-insurer relationships. With the Thanksgiving holiday fast approaching, all of us here at INSIGHT are grateful to all our readers for their continued support. A big thanks to all! oFeedbackHave a comment about this article?
